habit becomes nature

Posted by Cheryl Chia at 12:52 AM 0 comments
i am not feeling well, physically and emotionally!
so, i'm posting a very short and pithy one!
been coughing for damn 3 days and i think i'm about to cough my lungs out!
i insisted not to go for doctors! just hang on there, my fellow soldiers! (i do mean my antibodies as i bet they are fighting pretty hard with all the virus, worms, whatever shits i've given myself)
class starting soon...cant wait!
i've done absolutely NOTHING but eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep, game, eat, walk, shop, sleep, spend, spend, spend, eat, sleep, sleep, chat, chat, sleep, eat.....
it's a rather sinful holiday la i guess! spent money like water, sleep at 4/5am almost everyday, waking up at 10am...so on so forth! i'm so zombified, do look like one.already!
i am actually very excited about the new semester!
it's my final year at APIIT! i've heard that the parking issues are getting worse day by day...
so besides worrying about the traffic congestion, now, i have to worry about waking up earlier than before, to be able to find parking, to be able to reach before the shutter, to be able to be marked as "present" instead of "late" or "absent", and the most important thing, to be able to go out from APIIT during break time as finding for parking will soon/already was, the biggest problem to all APIIT students. SIGH, why so ma huan? did i pay thousands just for toilets?
anyway, 2 more weeks before CNY! greeeeeaaaat! am excited as well!
bought plenty tops/bottoms, i think enough to wear for the 15 days of CNY!
had great days with friends and all! done so much in 3 months time!
trips, shopping, movies, gaming, gambling (pre-CNY celebration), makan nice one, cheong k, etc etc.
and now, i am pretty much addicted to dota and l4d2!
i know i know, i'm turning into a freak but...gaming is one good way of de-stressing!
not exactly addicted la...i wonder why i started acting like a person with birdie by doing what birdie does! like gaming, gambling...= = wtf
been quite busy at parents' boutique as CNY approaching, everyone is having their no-too-last-minute shopping! therefore no time for photos updates!
updates coming real soon!
nighty!

*ignorance is still a bliss (by LadyClyde not Gaga)! friends we are no matter what, when, how! :)*

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
HAPPY 2010!!!!
LETS ALL FORGET THE UNHAPPY MOMENTS AND START DRAWING COLORS IN UR LIFE!
it's like getting urself some brand new clothes!
which, may be varies in colors, designs, brands, etc.
whether it is the best or the fugliest ever u have, it's utterly ur own preference.
so, lets pick urself some nice clothes and throw away, like literally fling it out of ur closet to replace them with the new one.

my biggest achievement of 2009?
1) completed my Degree year 2 in APIIT! (PROUD)
2) turned 21 finally! (can walk in casino dengan penuh gaya!)
3) gained weight and hair grew few inches longer! (PROUD)
4) spent more times with the babes and love ones!
5) knew more friends!
6) blog posts increased compared last year! LOL
....
my new year resolution?
1) work hard and earn $!
2) stop procrastinating! (FYP this year, FML)
3) reduce the number of parties, outings due to FYP!
4) get a BB or PDA! :)
5) more clothes, shoes and bags! ()
6) vacations and trips overseas. (cuti-cuti Malaysia boleh juga)
7) get to know MORE friends!
8) party hard! (which is so contradictory to R3)
9) my prince charming!
10) more blog posts! :P
....
Ok, i know my resolutions dont sound convincing! LOL.
we have to dream big in order to be successful!
whatever, who cares anyway? it's new year donk! :)
HAPPY NEW YEAR once again!

no regrets for what u had, as what u got would stay forever as memories, and let the new 2010 fills with joys and happiness!

"The Old Year has gone. Let the dead past bury its own dead. The New Year has taken possession of the clock of time. All hail the duties and possibilities of the coming twelve months!" - Edward Payson Powel.
love u guys!

All I Want For Christmas Is You

Posted by Cheryl Chia at 12:06 AM 0 comments
HELLO WORLD!
well, pardon me for not updating lately, and for some reasons, i restricted my blog.
i thought i could update my blog posts sekaligus whilst restricting it, so people would say "wah, so hardworking, so many updates at a time" , but i guess i was just way too lazy BUSY, so now it comes the first post on December opens to PUBLIC.
holidays were rather hectic, more frenzied with outings, movies, vacations, and most of the time unable to online as sister was glue'ed to the pc 24/7.
As Christmas is near approaching, i did many xmas shopping with friends and family in hopes to get some xmas pressies to flatter myself, or maybe new clothes to prevent from wardrobe crisis. and it resulted to......CRITICAL MONEY OUTFLOW, plus, i couldn't find any job during the holidays, so...SIGH...have to MAKAN ROTI after that!
it was great that everyone's having holidays and i can now spend great time together with the babes and friends after many months of stressful exams and hectic schedule.
the first outing was with babe Yean, the bf, and Susan to meet Brenda who flied all the way from Singapore for holiday trips.
i personally think that the 2nd one of the left looks good! YUM!
Enjoy our noms at LowYat Plaza. Kimchi is just heavenly good!
went for some Sticker Pix sessions after meeting up with Bren.
So So So So Christmassy.
we were told that there'll be snowing session everyday 7pm at The Pavilion, KL.
So we stayed to watch as we couldn't pray for the real snow in Malaysia. FML
here it comes...
**~** Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
~**~
we enjoyed the snow very very much despite the humid weather and the crowd!

OH DID I MENTION EARLIER? Khaw Rushien is finally back from Aussie.
*cheers!*
So, the next day, we went to The Pavilian, again to meet Jerayn who came back from Aussie for holidays as well.
we then agreed to stay to catch the snow...again! LOL
Time for our noms.
We went to Bubbagum, The Curve for dinner.
Shrimps are now our current favorite!

i'd die for more...literally!

++++

waited impatiently!
then it comes the Christmas Eve.
as usual, our whoop it up session was set at Poppy Garden, KL.
dying to get a new hair style, so i did curling and, not entirely, but practically achieved the curls i wanted.
likey this pic! face looks so flawless! LOL.
kissie-chuus
Holy CRAP, what did they do to my Santa Hat?
my favorite pix!

had great great time with everyone in the party

on the Christmas day itself, we went to Han Xian's crib for some pool party, as how they'd call it.

The house, or i shall call it a mansion or Villa, was so unexpectedly huge, with 2 swimming pools, and rooms that can accumulate 10 or more guests.
seriously like the Bali themed and decorations they had in the house makes me feel like staying over.
they had their own dancing room, pool and recreation spaces. SO NICE! T T
it's called the Pool Party, so everyone jumped into the pool and enjoyed the swimming session.
the hero trying to save the princess.

and then it ended our Christmas Day celebration.
My hope for Christmas would rather simple - may all my wishes come true.
and my wishes would be....PLENTY to be mentioned.
So it is relatively easy to be granted and yet complicated to be achieved. SIGH...
the foremost wishes i had made were basically to stay healthy all the time as i fallen sick almost every month, and being able to look for my Prince Charming who got lost somewhere to find me! SOB. and he better comes quick, as i could only fantasizing myself dating with my husband, Mr Jay, who came down all the way from Taiwan to dissolve the loneliness of mine at times.
OK, i over exaggerated. No, not chi sin, gila, or siao!
Last but not least, may everyone can has a great great Christmas,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

toodie!

Bangkok Trip 2

Posted by Cheryl Chia at 3:17 AM 0 comments
continued...

we woke up very early on the second day.
sister planned all activities that we will be doing on the day and even drew on the maps and jotted down the places we'll be visiting.
the initial plan is to shop until we buy what we could possibly get, which is merely equal to EVERYTHING, right here!
we had our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. So, we walked 15 minutes journey to visit the Four Face Buddha Temple, Erawan Shrine at Chitlom Station.
this is where u get to pay for some dancers to perform for the God. they did some Thailand dance like those we saw on tv commercial.
we then continue SHOPPPPPPPPPING at The Platinum Fashion Mall.
i simple enjoy the shopping session, first of all, it's of course i get to buy whatever i want. they have just everything...from hair accessories down to toe rings and stuff like that. not forgetting clothes, hand bags, etc etc. and the best thing about shopping right here is that...u get to negotiate with them! negotiate as in like asking for reductions of few bahts la. unlike those we seen at pasar malam shouting for price reductions or else they gonna smash the stalls or something. besides, another good thing is that we get to buy few items with wholesale prices which simply means few bahts cheaper than the fixed price. syiok!

we had our lunch at the food court.
SUPERB!
this was just stickily sweetily sourily nice!
Sister said "nice~~~!"
but it tasted the same as those in Msia! Lol

shopping session was halted half way as mum desperately looking for saloon to get her hair wash! we walked all around the mall but failed to find one. so we tried the street beside the mall and found this....very-grandmother-style saloon with all aunties and grannies walking in.
everyone's having the old school hair permed! i snapped some pictures of these aunties.
i have to say, this is the funniest picture of all. click to enlarge the picture. look at the auntie's face expression. she seriously looked like the bao zhu po in the Kung Fu Hustle movie. Beh tahan!

we then went to have ice creams at the Swensens!!!~~~
Lurve these!

met my auntie after that.
she is my.....grandfather's.....er..somebody and by someway, somehow, we are related! LOL
had dinner together with rest.

the shopping aftermath,
dresses, tops, shorts, flats, T's, false lashes...
and get this from one of the stall...Kai, i found it! LOL
oh yea, not forgetting sensodyne~~~! I'm actually getting this Whitening toothpaste for myself as i couldn't find any in Malaysia. LOL!

The next day...
woke up early to have our last breakfast in Bangkok.i had plain roti bakar and coffee. just lost my appetite after 2 days of indulgence treats to my stomach.
the only thing that could possibly please and cheer me up is to shop! (like i'll never come back here again...boloh)

so we took a cab to Chatuchak market.
macam macam ada....
they even sell PUPPPPPPPPIES.
DAMN CUTE ARRRR! i want to bring them back arrrrrr!!!!
i like this one...6000 bahts i think! sigh, couldn't get one of these back! (like Malaysia tak da only = ='')

we left the market and decided to walk around the malls nearby.
mummy had her GT girl pose, not much like it. LOL
we have TGV in Malaysia and they have EGV in Thai. LOL

lunch time at the food court
mum said their chicken tasted better but i failed to grasp the difference.
Mummy:Myself:Sister

we walked back to the hotel, pack our belongings and luggage before leaving to the airport.
our bags and luggage were fully loaded!

reached the airport.
the last picture of us in Thai~~~~

off we go....
Bye Thailand!!

LOL, i was awaken by the smell of the maggie he's having. DAMN!

had the greatest 3 days memories in Bangkok, and i promised, I'LL BE VISITING THAILAND AGAIN VERY SOON!
this time gonna bring more bahts and bags...Thailand is indeed a shopping paradise!
nighty~~!
